The Village

[Maggie the Magster]

The Village was a small, peaceful place. The villagers praised god and loved him as much as they could. But the Priests, who are in charge of everything, think that they need to be more god fearing, and should not make any advances in their living quality. They force the villagers to think that they are the only ones out there, that they are the last of the human race and they must pray to God that he will help them survive.

But the Priests lie. There are other villages out there, all over the world. who've made advancements in life like music, and color, and books! There are people, from other villages, who like to travel. They travel all over the world to other villages, seeing their advancements. Then they come across this village. This village, who have come to a standstill, because thy chose religion over improving their world. The priests call them rebels, and warn the villagers against them. They say that they will bring the downfall of the village.

This is true. But the "rebels" aren't necessarily going to bring down the village, only the priests and the mayor. They believe that they are purposefully holding their village back just for the sake of religion. The rebels think it wrong of them. So they are planning ways to infiltrate the village, to assassinate the priests and mayor. But they need help. From the inside.

Both sides believe that they are helping the village. But who's right?
