we're sick of this leaving's our only option but we need you! starclan needs you! we don't belong here not anymore. -----------------------------------------------
nightheart, trancestep, flickerdust, and fallendream were their names.
the four were legendary. clan rivalries were ever so tense in their presence, fighting wildly, without consideration for the end, for obtaining them. why? because they were the gifted.
you see, each of them possessed a different power; nightheart with super speed and strength, trancestep the ability to read minds, flickerdust wings that enabled her to fly, and fallendream the power to predict the future. retaining any one of these four cats promised forest domination, but greediness took form in all four clans, as a single clan wanted control of all four cats.
none of the gifted craved power so much as to neglect the fact that forest domination could not be achieved. they were upright cats with positive believes, and strove to fight against ownership of any one of them. they gained a strong bond, as close as sisters and brothers.
furious with their former clanmates, they abandoned the forest who wept in desolation. relief came to them as if a giant stone has been lifted off their hearts, along with it blew the sweet breeze of freedom.
meanwhile starclan split into two groups in the skies above them. one group remained to be ancestors of the warrior cats. the second group, sympathetic of the four cats, started calling themselves the order of stars, vowing to protect the gifted cats forever.
traveling side by side with the order of stars, the gifted arrived in a lush prairie, studded with rivers and pools, the entire area large enough to compete with forest clan territory. soon enough they found stray cats roaming around the lands, and with surprise they found that each of them possessed a different power as well.
they soon stabilized the orders of nightmare, trance, flicker, and fallen, and became nightstar, trancestar, flickerstar, and fallenstar. the organized routine of clan life attracted strays to join, and soon they were flourishing. and so, the ages of the orders had begun.
