what are these strange things you speak of?
If your not new to the terms some of us use around here, 'ive made a complete list for your convenience. Includes names, dates, events etc. As well as there description.
Violet Hill ( or Violet ) -- the ( fictional ) city that all these events are played out. It is set on the west coast of Washington, middle of no where to some, coastline. This city includes a upper district, as well as some dirt roads leading to other towns miles away.
The Happenings -- strange events that happen around the city more frequent. The have many shapes and forms but mostly occur during the night.
Housepets -- Animals that have kept to the traditional way of being housed and fed by their owner. They are found scattered around to where ever there care takers reside.
Pioneers -- These are the canines who have either left there human home, forced to leave, or came to Violet Hill seeking refuge. These guy's aren't owned by humans and rely on instinct and primitive hunting abilities to survive. Depending on there leader, these pioneer's can have lots of information, and be a friendly sort of bunch. While other's harbor anger and can be very territorial.
Strays -- Canines that either refuse to be in contact with humans, arn't tied down by humans or are lost in the streets. These guys are generally friendly and cautious. Living in the crevices of the city, the woods, or the outer lands. But some can be territorial, vicious, and plain evil.
Packs -- Most common group of pioneers, ran by one or two leader's. They act as a family, following rules given to them by there dominates, and establish territory anywhere. Usually friendly and well organized.
Cults -- A group ran mostly by one leader. They are similar to a pack only following a religious path. Cult's believe in a higher power or god and might preform religious ceremony's. Cults can be good or evil, depending on there views, but usually corrupted.
Tribes -- Very uncommon group of canines usually native to the outer regions. They are lead by one leader but often have a 'council' of advisers. They don't often come into contact with humans and know the countryland by heart.
Gangs -- A small group of unorganized canines. They usually have one leader, and normally don't have any rules set on them. They often roam territory's in search of food without establishing one of there own.
The Catcher -- a free street term used to describe the local dogcatcher of the city.
Ashland District -- the more populated part of the city, decorated by ash trees. Mostly were all house pets, citizens and happenings are.
Outerlands -- regions of the land that arn't near Violet. Usually towns over or farther out by the sea.
